Join us for a fun, virtual house party where everyone can take action to help pass the Equality Act!
This year, Congress reintroduced HR 5, known as the Equality Act. The Equality Act would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to explicitly prevent discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity - It would protect trans youth and the LGBTQ community from discrimination in employment, housing, education, federally funded programs, and more. It would also expand protections for women, people of color and people of faith.
Join The Ally Coalition (TAC) and Equality Time on June 24th from 7pm - 8pm ET for Music in Action, hosted by music artists, with special guest appearances throughout. Together, we will take simple, direct actions to protect LGBTQ+ people, women, people of color from discrimination.
The creative community vows to take a stand against anti-LGBTQ legislation and to advocate for equality.
